A Target Market Determination (TMD) describes who a product is appropriate for, and any conditions around how the product can be distributed to customers. The TMD helps you understand the class of customers an insurance policy has been designed for, considering their needs and objectives. It also describes the events or circumstances where we may need to review a TMD for a financial product.
